The Freshman baseball team is in a fortunate position this afternoon. Having already measured its strength against Yale and creditably held its own in a tie game, it can enter today's contest with proper confidence in its own ability and yet with a wholesome respect for that of its opponents. It has an unusual opportunity to make good and to retrieve the athletic reputation of the class of 1911.
The class itself has something more than its athletic reputation to retrieve-it has yet to show that it cares. Let there be no lack of encouragement, before and during the game, to a team that has shown itself so worthy of appreciation.
