Action on Union Library Offences

At a recent meeting of the Governing Board of the Union the following motion was passed: "Any one who takes and keeps a book from the Union Library shall be fined two dollars ($2); and unless this fine is paid and the book returned within a week he shall be suspended from all use of the Union during the pleasure of the Governing Board." It is hoped that the adoption of this rule will do away with the numerous offences of taking books from the library.
