James M. MacKaye '95 will give the first of a series of five important lectures on "Political Engineering" in Emerson F. this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. The lecture will be open to the public. The special subject that the lecturer will speak upon is "The True Criterion of Right."
A committee of eleven professors of the University has arranged this series of lectures with the view of initiating an ethical system founded on commonsense and to derive a moral code from it which can be applied to modern politics. By bringing up the vital questions which confront those desirous of bringing about good government they desire to interest college men and enlist their support.
