Plans for Yale Baseball Season

New Haven, Conn., January 11, 1910.--William L. Lush has been re-appointed coach of the Yale baseball team. He coached the Yale team last year and in the seasons of 1905, 1906, and 1907. During these seasons the only series lost to Harvard was in 1907. Mr. Lush formerly played for the Cleveland American and Boston National League teams.

Candidates for the Yale team were called out at a meeting Monday evening, and 75 reported. Mr. Lush will take charge of the work on February 25.

The schedule for the season is announced as follows:

April 2--South Orange Field Club.

April 6--Trinity.

April 9--New York Nationals at New York.

April 14--Hartford, Connecticut League, at Hartford.

April 16--Fordham.

April 20--Bucknell.

April 23--University of Vermont.

April '27--West Point at West Point.

May 4--Wesleyan.

May 6--University of Virginia.

May 7--Andover.

May 11--Williams.

May 14--University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia.

May 18--Brown.

May 21--Holy Cross at Worcester.

May 24--Amherst.

May 28--Columbia at New York.

May 30--Brown at Providence.

June 4--Princeton.

June 8--Syracuse.

June 11--Princeton at Princeton.

June 16--Princeton at New York (in case of a tie).

June 18--Cornell.

June 21--Harvard.

June 23--Harvard at Cambridge.

June 25--Harvard at New York or at Boston (in case of a tie).

Unless otherwise stated, the games will be played in New Haven
