Lectures on "Japan, Past and Present"

Professor O. Yoshisaburo of Tokyo will deliver a course of eight free public lectures on "Japan, Past and Present," under the auspices of the Lowell Institute in Huntington Hall, Boston. These lectures will begin tomorrow, and after that will be given on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8 o'clock. Tickets for the course may be obtained by mail from the Curator, 491 Boylston street, Boston.

The subjects for the lectures are as follows:

January 25.--"Cherry Blossoms."

January 28.--"Old Japan at a New School."

February 1.--"Permanence of the Spirit of Old Japan."

February 4.--"Chinese Civilization and Japan."

February 8.--"Japan and the West."

February 11.--"Japanese Homes."

February 15.--"Education in Japan."

February 18.--"Japanese Society."
