1914 Defeated Newton High, 3-1

The Freshman hockey team defeated Newton High School, by the score of 3 to 1, in a practice game played at the Brae Burn Country Club yesterday afternoon. The 1914 forwards were much faster than their opponents and showed superior team-work. Sortwell, who shot two goals, excelled individually. Clark scored the other goal for the Freshmen.
