Recent Gifts to the Germanic Museum

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Germanic Museum has recently received plaster replicas of two famous groups. One work, representing the Crucifixion, is modelled after a part of the altar in the church at Wechselburg, Saxony, and is a gift of the Germanic Museum Association. The other, which was given by Fairmount Park Art Association of Philadelphia, is a replica of an equestrian group which stands in front of the Royal Museum at Berlin, sculptured by August Kiss.

The groups are now on exhibition at the Germanic Museum.
