GAME WITH EXETER AT 4

Hicks will Pitch for University Team, and Carr will be at Shortstop

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At 4 o'clock today the University baseball team will meet Phillips Exeter Academy on Soldiers Field. Hicks will probably be in the box for Harvard, and Litchfield is to pitch for the academy team. Potter will be given a rest for the day, and Marshall will be at second, with Carr again at shortstop.

Exeter has no more than an average team, and with the University team playing in the same form that it has shown in its last two games, the game should be an easy victory for Harvard. Exeter was defeated by Brown, 7 to 0, by Colby, 12 to 2, by Princeton Freshmen, 13 to 2, and by Bowdoin, 6 to 5 in 13 innings. No game was played with Exeter last year, but in 1908 the school team held Harvard to a 4 to 3 score.

The batting orders: HARVARD.  EXETER. Rogers, c.f.  3b., Wingate McLaughlin, 1b.  l.f., Vaughn Lanigan, 3b.  s.s., Curtis Babson, l.f.  r.f., Frye Hicks, p.  c.f., Pratt Minot, r.f.  c., Way Marshall, 2b.  1b., Fox Young, c.  2b., Hennessy Carr, s.s.  p., Litchfield
