The first smoker for the class of 1916 will be held in the living Room of the Union this evening at 9 o'clock. As the smoker will be largely in the nature of a mass meeting before the game with the Yale freshmen on Saturday, the whole of the Living Room will be thrown open instead of the smaller dining room, as is the usual custom for class smokers. To make the occasion a complete success it is therefore necessary that every member of the class be present. A professional entertainer has been secured and refreshments will be served. Kanrich's orchestra will play.
The smoker will be the first of several gatherings planned by the Freshman Smoker Committee to be hold before the class elections in order that better opportunities may be offered all members of the class to meet.
