Given in His Honor in Colonial Club Last Night.--Many Noted Men Spoke.

A dinner in honor of Francis G. Peabody, Professor of Christian Morals, who recently retired from the Faculty, was given in the Colonial Club last evening by a group of his friends and associates. About 30 people were present to show their appreciation of his services. The speakers were: President Lowell, President Eliot, Mr. A. T. White, Professors R. B. Perry, Emerton, Peabody, Taussing, and G. F. Moore.

Professor Peabody will sail for Japan on Monday.
