At a meeting of the heads of the tables of Memorial Hall called by President Lowell yesterday afternoon the following resolution was adopted:
"The table captains of the Memorial Hall Dining Association wish to record themselves as against the spirit expressed in the pounding of dishes and tables and the making of other disturbances unbecoming to gentlemen, which has prevailed recently at the Hall and to request all members to co-operate with them in eliminating this spirit.
"Furthermore, since the appearance of ladies in the hall is a cause of disturbance among some of the members, all of the members of the association are requested not to bring ladies into the main dining room or to the doorways thereof during regular meal hours, and the officers of the hall are requested to see that others will abide by this ruling."
