Freshmen Defeated Rindge 3 to 1.--Brown 1916 Won From University 2nds on Saturday Afternoon by Score of 6 to 3.

The Freshman baseball team defeated Rindge Technical School by the score of 3 to 1 on Soldiers Field Saturday afternoon. The Freshmen led throughout the game but in the ninth inning Rindge scored one run and had two on base when Cunningham threw to Ervin catching Harvey off second and ending the game. University Second Team Defeated.

The University second team lost to the Brown freshmen by the score of 6 to 3 on Soldiers Field Saturday afternoon. Brown knocked both Boyle and Sturgis out of the box securing ten hits and clearly earning the game. In the third inning a home-run by Sillivan scored two runs, and in the sixth and seventh two-base hits by Dick and Ormsby scored one run each.
