The Union is making every effort to have this year as full of attractions for its members as possible. Every year more and more is done toward making it the centre of University activity, both by securing men prominent in state and national affairs as lecturers and by presenting such other attractions as musicales and readings. Although the dates have not been definitely arranged in all cases, the following men will appear at the Union during the year:
Elbert Hubbard; Hon. Arthur Woods '90, of the New York Police Commission; Ernest Thompson Seton; Franklin D. Roosevelt, Assistant Secretary of the Navy; George Harvey, editor of the North American Review; Hon. William H. Taft; Hon. Henry Breckinridge, Assistant Secretary of War; William J. Burns; Winston Churchill; R. L. O'Brien, editor of the Boston Herald; and Samuel Compers.
Professor Copeland will continue his enjoyable readings. The musicales which were held in the Living Room last year proved so successful that they will be continued this winter. Music is also furnished in the dining room six evenings of the week.
