LECTURE ON POLICE AFFAIRS

AUTHORITY ON MUNICIPAL PROBLEMS TO SPEAK IN UNION TONIGHT.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The third of the entertainments for members of the union will be given in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8 o'clock, when Mr. Arthur Woods '92, police commissioner of New York city, will speak on police and municipal affairs in the large cities. Mr. Woods has a first-hand acquaintance with his subject and is eminently qualified to talk on it. He was appointed to his present position last winter and since then has devoted much time to studying the administrative problems of his department. Mr. Woods was expected to speak here on November 18 but business an airs obliged him to cancel his engagement at that time.
