GAME TO DECIDE SOCCER RANKING

If University Wins or Ties Tomorrow, Second Place Assured.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University association football team will play the last game of its intercollegiate series tomorrow afternoon, when it meets Columbia on Soldiers. Field at 3 o'clock. Pennsylvania has won the championship, and tomorrow's game will determine the final standing of the University in the intercollegiate league. At present the University is tied with Cornell for second place, each having six points. Cornell has finished its season. If the University either ties or wins tomorrow, the team will have seven or eight points, as the case may be, and will be sure of second place, as no other team is in a position to reach this total even by winning all its remaining games. If Columbia wins, it will take second place, and the University will tie Cornell for third. If Yale wins its remaining game, there would be a three-cornered tie for third place.
