A quality which has been characteristic of the baseball team throughout the season was displayed by the team yesterday--that of hard fighting. The men in spite of a few errors, were never unsettled; they played hard and fast, and they played to win. Although Yale's errors counted greatly in the scoring, four of the seven tallies were earned by the University team. This fact, coupled with the coolness and fighting spirit in the team's playing yesterday, renews again our confidence in its ability to defeat Yale in the final game of the series. The University baseball team of 1914 deserves a victory on Saturday and in its efforts to gain this victory, the loyal support of all Harvard men will be ever with the team.
