SECRET PRACTICE CONTINUED AT NEW HAVEN YESTERDAY

Ineligibles Put On Harvard Plays in Short Scrimmage With Regular Eleven.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

New Haven, Conn., Nov. 16. -- Secret practice was again in order at New Haven this afternoon. The university team went through a short scrimmage with the ineligibles, the latter using Harvard formations. The first team was entirely on the defensive, except for a brief period when they took the ball and ran through a short series of offensive plays. But there was no tackling, the work being entirely of the dummy nature.

The punters received a great deal of individual attention and also there was some practice in kicking-off.

Bingham, Black, Church, and Gates did not report but otherwise the teams lined-up in the same order as yesterday.
