The new red flag bill, allowing educational and charitable organizations to carry red flags in public assemblies, which was introduced in the House of the state legislature on March 31, has been brought up for a vote. Instead of retaining and passing the bill in its original form, the House unexpectedly moved to substitute for this bill another one repealing the red flag law itself. Mr. Kennard of Somerville favored the motion and the amendment prevailed. The repeal bill was then passed to be engrossed.
