Austin W. Scott LL.B. '09, temporarily appointed Dean of the Law School, was graduated from Rutgers College in 1903. He received his LL.B. at the Law School in 1909 and after passing the New York bar examination, practiced in New York City for several years. Returning to Boston he took charge of Dean Ames' classes for some time in 1910, and later was appointed assistant professor, receiving his full professorship last year. While on a leave of absence in 1911, he served as Dean of the College of Law at the State University of Iowa.
