CREWS SNAPPED FOR "MOVIES"

Record Number of Freshman Boats Working in Tank and on Machines.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coach Haines directed the crew practice yesterday afternoon and no changes of importance were made. The running after practice was discontinued because of the snow, and work was done only on the machines and in the tank. There are now nine University crews in training and eleven Freshman crews. This is the record number of Freshman boats for the University, and since there is a great deal of valuable material in the class, 1919 ought to produce some able crews this spring.

Moving picture photographers took several reels of pictures of the crews at practice on the machines and in the tank. These films will be shown at all Boston moving picture theatres, wherever the Pathe Weekly or the Selig-Tribune is shown in about two weeks.
