Regular trials for the University tennis team will begin today, and all candidates should report at Jarvis Field at 2.30 o'clock.

Twelve of the courts on Jarvis Field were ready for use yesterday, and several members of last year's University, second, and Freshman teams practiced outdoors for the first time this season, including Captain R. N. Williams '16, G. C. Caner '17, A. F. Doty '16, J. Wooldredge '16, H. G. M. Kelleher '18, and A. S. Peabody '16.

Last Thursday J. S. Pfaffmann '17, of the University tennis team, wrenched his ankle badly during practice. The doctors think, however, that in all probability he will be able to play again by the end of next week.
