Second 1919 Boat Defeated Exeter

The second Freshman crew defeated the Exeter eight by half a length in the race over the half-mile course at Exeter last Saturday. The time made by the Freshmen was 2 minutes 33 4-5 seconds. The Exeter four-oared crew also lost to the Nobel and Greenough crew.

As the annual spring regatta at New Haven last Saturday the Yale junior crew won the interclass championship and will therefore race the winning University class crew on May 20. The Yale freshman eight defeated the Springfield High School crew by eight lengths in the same regatta. No times were given out.
