TRACK SEASON OPENS TOMORROW

Short Relay Team to Run Against M. I. T. In Artillery Games.

Almost 50 members of the University are entered in the Coast Artillery games which will usher in the Indoor Track season tomorrow evening at the South Armory.

The University and Freshman relay teams will have their first try-out of the year when they meet the representatives of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The University short distance team appears strong with three experienced men among its members. Although the mettle of the Freshmen is less definitely known, good times have been made in practice.

In addition to the relay races. 19 members entered in the 75-yard dash. 15 in the 440, nine in the half-mile, nine in the mile, and five in the high jump. All of these events are handicap.

Keen competition in the open events is assured by a large list of entries including representatives of the B. A. A., Brown, Holy Cross, Boston College, and Bowdoin. Among the relay races one between the B. A. A. and Holy Cross is included.
