In a close game, interesting because of the former University players in the line-up rather than for the character of football displayed, the Boston Navy Yard defeated the Radio School 3 to 0 on Soldiers Field Saturday afternoon. W. J. Murray '18, and E. L. Casey '19, both members of the 1916 University eleven, were the stars of the game. Other University players were C. A. Clark, Jr., '19 and S. Temple '15.
Murray and Casey completed five forward passes for gains ranging from 10 to 25 yards. It was through this attack that Murray was given the opportunity to score three points on a 30-yard drop kick. In the final minute of play the Radio teams attempt to tie the score by a field goal was broken up by Temple, who blocked the kick.
