SPREAD PLANS PROGRESSING

ARRANGEMENTS BY INDIVIDUALS OR CLUBS MUST BE MADE AT ONCE.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Elaborate plans are now under way to make the Senior spreads on the 1918 Class Day as successful as possible. Because of the aim to make Class Day this year a general reunion of the entire class, and to have as many men as possible now in the service return to Cambridge, it is desired that all societies, clubs, individuals or dormitories who wish to apply for separate spreads make arrangements at once. They should see J. W. Angell '18, chairman of the Class Day Committee, in Holworthy 18. The space available for spreading this year includes all the Yard west of Thayer and University Halls. Clubs or dormitories which have spread in previous years may have the same space reserved for them. Several societies are already forming tentative plans.

Spreads as planned for Class Day will be in the form of informal receptions lasting from 5.30 to 8 o'clock and preceding the dance in the Union. Buffet suppers will be served.

Special Attention for Men in Service.

Special attention will be given this year to applications received from Seniors now in the Army or Navy. Because of the difficulty in getting in touch with many of these men, the Class Day Committee has asked any Seniors now in Cambridge to make reservations as soon as possible for those members of the class in the ervice whom they expect to return for Class Day.

Applications for the sale of Yard, Stadium, Union and Sanders Theatre tickets will be sent out this week by the Class Day Committee. It is essential that these be returned promptly, especially by men in the service, in order that the committee may continue its plans for the entertainment of the Seniors. While all festivities will be as simple and economical as possible.
