According to an announcement made by the Headquarters Office yesterday the authorities at Camp Devens have offered to give instruction in bayonet and grenade work to a second group of R. O. T. C. men, beginning June 3. It is planned to send 32 men to take advantage of this opportunity. All members of the R. O. T. C. who have signed up for the Plattsburg camp are assured of a month's training during June either at the Government R. O. T. C. camp, or at Camp Devens, as the organization of the second Devens detachment reduces the number of remaining June Camp candidates to within the quota allowed the corps by the War Department.

Only June Camp Applicants Eligible.

Only those who have applied for admission to camp are eligible to receive the special instruction at the cantonment. The men included in that number who wish to be included in the Devens group must hand in applications at the Military Office before 1 o'clock this afternoon.

Must Attend July R. O. T. C.

All those chosen will be sent to the Divisional Schools of the cantonments where they will be maintained for three weeks at the expense of the University corps. They will, as were those sent to the same schools this month, be required to agree to return as members of the corps this summer, and instruct in the subjects in which they specialize at Devens.
