CRIMSON CROSS-COUNTRY MEN TRY OUT COURSE AT BELMONT

Management Planning Inter-Dormitory Run for October 14.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Practice was held yesterday over the Belmont course for the University and Freshman cross-country teams. The University team was timed over the six-mile course and did unusually well for so early in the season. The Freshmen were sent over the three mile course. Among those who did well were Winchester, Bennett, Pratt, Tait and Howard.

Plan Inter-dormitory Run.

The first interdormitory cross-country meet will be held on October 14 over the four mile Cemetery Course, starting from the Stadium. Men wishing to enter should report at the Locker Building daily at 2.45 o'clock, if possible; if not at 4 o'clock. This is the first of the Interdormitory contests for which a trophy has been offered.

At a meeting next Tuesday of the Freshman squad a captain will be chosen for each dormitory team and managers will be assigned.
