W. H. RUSSELL TALKS ON FENCING

National Champion Helps Start Teams in Each Freshman Dormitory.

W. H. Russell '16, National duellingswords champion, will speak to 1923 today at their regular Hygiene section in the New Lecture Hall at 2.30 o'clock. The talk will deal with the advantages of fencing and the plans for the season. Director Geer in co-operation with the University fencing management, expects to form a Freshman fencing squad, from which dormitory teams will be chosen, to compete for the inter-dormitory championship. Coach Danguay of the University squad will coach the Freshmen, who will be divided into two squad, meeting at 1.45 to 2.45 o'clock and 2.45 to 3.45 o'clock Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Any men on the 1923 squad who show particular promise will be eligible for the Harvard Fencers' Club team. This team will take the place of a University second team and will practice with the University squad.
