IZZY KAPLAN PICKS "THE HARVARD BOYS" AS WINNERS

New York Critic Expects Crimson to "Touchdown the Ball" Three Times in Game Today.

By Izzy Kaplan.

Helloi, Mr. Editor:

The boss said I should write it a letter to you for him on account he is busy in a pinochle tournament. Anyhow he says he don't know nothing about football this year, neither does nobody else.

I should tell it that I was at Harvard once when Mr. Haughtonstein was running the footballers. I think Mr. Haughtonstein is a good football coachman but he is no good for photographers. When I was up by the soldiers' field to get some action picture he had a lot of low life freshmen throw me out of the place. But the laugh is on him because I have been thrown out of a lot of better colleges since.

About football this year, it's a funny business but I guess the Harvard boys aint got a much worse team than any of the others. If you should see Mr. Eddie Casey tell him to run faster with the ball this time because he should understand it that this business with Yale is not a monkey business.

I had a pretty good time in your college the last time I was there because they took me in the Harvard Baboon office which is a newspaper office and afterward they tried to get me shikker. But the prices is too high now so I suppose nobody gets shikker at the game any more even the old collegers.

The way I am thinking now is that Harvard should touch down the ball about three times while Yale don't touch down the ball at all. Not that I ain't got some good friends at Yale too. I know a lot of high toned people because only yesterday I took a picture of Ethel Baltimore who is a very classy actress and is now playing on Broadway in a new show which it is called "Delicatessen." You should see her in the sad parts where she cries so that you would think that the show was losing money instead of going big.

If I should get it a day off and come to see the footballers tell it to Mr. Haughtonstein to say to the Freshmen not to get fresh with Izzy Kaplan because some day Izzy will knock them for a ghoul because Izzy is a hard egg when he is mad and I hope you feel the same.
