GORE HALL AMASSES MOST 1923 INTRAMURAL CREDITS

Leads with 28 Points to 24 for Standish and Only 20 for Smith Halls.--Scored 16 on River

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Now that the fall season of the Freshman Interdormitory Series is over, the points won by each dormitory are reckoned up and the prize awarded to the victor. Gore Hall has piled up 28 points to the 24 for Standish, with Smith, the largest of all the halls, trailing with 20 tallies. These totals represent the scoring made in four sports. In addition, the numbers of men from each dormitory on the Freshman football team counted toward the final total. In only one of these sports, rowing, was more than one team, produced by each hall. It is the plan of the Physical Training Department that every team from each hall, whether they are first, second or third teams, shall be able to contribute in the same measure to the totals of that hall. Thus in crew all three of the dormitories were represented by four crews, and since Gore won with two of her crews, and pulled in second with the other two, she amassed 16 points in that branch alone. The totals follow:   Gore.  Standish.  Smith. Rowing,  16  12  8 Cross country  1  3  5 Tennis,  3  1  5 Football,  5  3  1 Representation on F. B. team,  3  5  1 Totals,  28  24  20
