RED CROSS CAMPAIGN IS LAGGING

University Must Speed Up Before Next Friday--Only $200 Collected.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Red Cross drive for members is progressing slowly. Only an incomplete canvass of the University has been made as yet, and full returns of the team captains had not been made up to a late hour last night; the two teams that did report turned in a total of less than $200. The drive will continue until Friday of next week, omitting Tuesday, a holiday, and by that time every dormitory in the University will be thoroughly covered.

Fifteen million dollars is the goal set this year for the National Roll Call, which is to be gained through new memberships and renewals of old ones. This money is to be expended in helping remedy the terrible conditions existing in devastated countries in Europe and in helping to carry out the projected preparedness program against epidemics and disasters.
