RADICAL CHANGES ARE MADE IN 1920 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

NOT YET RATIFIED

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Fred W. Moore '93, graduate treasurer of the H. A. A., yesterday announced the tentative football schedule for the fall of 1920. He took this action because of the fact that many newspapers have been publishing schedules of their own made up principally by guess-work. The schedule has not yet been ratified by the Athletic Committee.

The schedule follows:

Sept. 25--Unsettled.

Oct. 2--University of Maine.

Oct. 9--Notre Dame.

Oct. 16--Williams.

Oct. 23--Centre College.

Oct. 30--University of Virginia.

Nov. 6--Princeton.

Nov. 13--Brown.

Nov. 20--Yale.

All contests except that with Yale are in Cambridge. Bates, Boston College, Colby, Tufts, Springfield Y. M. C. A. do not appear as opponents next fall, their places being taken by the University of Maine, Williams, Centre College, and Notre Dame. Both Maine and Williams last battled in the Stadium in 1913, when they went down to defeat before the Haughton machine of that year, the former 34 to 0 and the latter 23 to 3.

Centre College, one of the strongest, if not the strongest team developed in the East this fall, is a new addition to the list of Harvard opponents.

Pending the final decision of the Athletic Committee in regard to the Pasadena trip, the eleven is reporting for practice at the field daily.
