The first concert of Mr. Arthur Whiting's series of Expositions of chamber Music will be given in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building on Kirkland street tomorrow evening at 8.15 o'clock. This concert, for which no admission fee is required, is open to officers and students of the University only.
Mr. Whiting, at the harpsichord, will be assisted by Miss Loraine Wyman, soprano; Mr. George Barrere, flute; Mr. Jacob Danziger, violin; and Mr. Percy Such, violoncello.

Mr. Arthur Whiting since 1907 has been the director of a course of education in music suitable to laymen in the universities of Yale, Princeton, and Harvard. He gives annually a series of five monthly concerts in each place, the performance being preceded by a talk on the character and form of the music, which fixes the attention on important points and assists in the understanding and appreciation of classical works.
