Freshman crew candidates will resume practice today, after a week's rest during which the University squad was being organized. Besides those men who were rowing before, other Freshmen may report at the Varsity Room, Newell boat House, at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The management also wants more candidates to report for the University eight, in order that another crew may be organized, the plan being to divide the eights into sets of two crews each. There are now thirteen crews at work on the machines. Coach Haines plans to keep the University crews rowing in pairs of equal strength until the spring vacation.
Any Freshman wishing to enter the managerial competition will not be handicapped if the reports at the H. A. A. at 1.05 o'clock today. No previous experience is required.
