CHUTE TO LEAD 1922 RELAY TEAM IN RACE WITH YALE

Freshmen Weakened by Loss of Boister and McCarthy. -- M'g'r Leonard Attends I. C. A. A. A. A. Meeting.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coach Donovan of the track team has appointed Richard Chute '22 of Boston as captain of the Freshman relay team which meets the Yale yearlings at the Boston Athletic Association meet at Mechanics Hall tomorow night. Chute came to the University from Andover where he was a member of the 1918 track team.

Prospects for a freshman victory over Yale on Saturday received a severe setback yesterday when it was announced that R. P. Bolster '22 and probably C. A. McCarthy '22 will be ineligible to enter the meet. Both men were members of the 1922 relay team. J. Lee '22 will probably run in place of Bolster, but if McCarthy is finally declared ineligible Coach Donovan has not decided by whom he will be replaced.

Leonard to Preside Over I. C. A. A. A. A.

Manager L. B. Leonard '19 will leave for New York at 1 o'clock today to preside at the executive meeting of the I. C. A. A. A. A. which will take place this evening and at the annual I. C. A. A. A. A. meeting on Saturday. One of the questions to be decided will be where the intercollegiate track meet is to be held.

Although Manager Leonard will make no attempt to secure the meet, it is understood that the other colleges strongly favor the Stadium.
