At a meeting held early this week of all Freshmen who have been rowing on crews below the third, Captain F. B. Whitman '19 explained the new system of club crews which is to be put into operation for the balance of this season. For the present there will be four Freshman club crews divided into two Junior Thayer, and two Junior Eliot eights. The tentative make-up of the crews has been decided upon by Coach Manning, but there will be changes from time to time as better men show up; and if enough interest is shown two more eights will be formed.

The crews will row every afternoon from Weld Boathouse, and it is expected that all will race in the Regatta which is to take place in the first part of May.

These new eights are formed:

Thayer Junior A:--B., Tuckerman; 2, Moorehead; 3, Wakefield; 4, Hitchcock; 5, Frothingham; 6, Wiley; 7, Townsend; S., Howe.

Eliot Junior A:--B., Fish; 2, Sumner; 3, Heath; 4, Perry; 5, Colt; 6, Parker; 7, Nickerson; S., Woodworth.
