Today, for the first time in three years, Harvard meets another college on the gridiron. This is no ordinary first game of the season. The team expects and should receive a big crowd of spectators.

If football can get away to a good start, half the battle will be won. A bad beginning was the factor that most handicapped baseball last spring. The early games are important; a string of victories at first gives a team confidence.

Few men have to be urged to watch a football game. No better way of getting excitement has been devised this side of the trenches. Let us all therefore spend this afternoon in the best possible fashion, by filling up the Stadium and helping the team roll up a score.
