Professor J. L. Danguay, one of the foremost, fencers in America, has been secured as coach for the University fencing team for the coming season. Professor Danguay coached the New York Fencing Club last year. Previous to his engagement in New York, he had taught several years in France. Professor Leslabay, the former University coach is now in Switzerland.

Work for the coming season will begin next week when a call for University and Freshman candidates will be issued. The prospects for a successful team are better this year than they have been for years. Three veterans of last year's team are back: R. H. Snow '20, C. Howard '20, and S. H.
