Northeastern College is scheduled to oppose the University baseball team in the opening practice game of the fall season on Monday afternoon. The game will start at three o'clock and will be informal in character, as neither team has had much practice.

Coach Slattery has not selected any definite line-up for the University nine, for he intends to try out as many of the squad of thirty-five as possible.

Yesterday afternoon's work was devoted to batting practcie for the entire squad, much time being devoted to the correction of the individual faults of the hitters.
