Giants Win Third of Series

The third game of the World's series, at which thirty-seven thousand persons were present, went to the Giants yesterday by the score of 13 to 5. At the end of the third inning, the teams were tied with four runs apiece, but the Giants ran away with eight in the seventh inning, establishing a decisive lead.

In the third inning Ruth singled with the bases loaded, scoring two runs. Two more Yankees went home before the end of the inning, but the Giants staged a come-back in their half and tied the score. In the seventh inning McGraw's men scored five runs by singles and doubles. With the bases full, Young tripled, bringing in Barnes, Burns, and Frisch, totalling eight runs for the inning.
