The University soccer team, after having suffered two successive defeats at the hands of League opponents, will face the strong Cornell eleven o Upper Alumnus Field; Ithaca at 1.30 o'clock this afternoon with two regulars out of the line up.
H. J. Williams '23, right halfback has been laid up with a bad foot for the last week, and will be unable to appear in uniform while R. M. C. Greenidge 2E.S.will also be absent from the line-up. His place at left fullback will be filled by H.R. Priestly 4E.S., while J. M. Begg '24, who has played a consistent game at left halfback will take Williams' position. Aside from these shifts the University line-up will remain unchanged.
In Cornell the Crimson will find a strong opponent. The Red and White player have been very successful so far, having suffered but one defeat, that by Princeton, who now leads the Intercollegiate League with three victories and no defeats. The Cornellians have taken the measure of both Haverford and Yale thus holding second place in the League.
