Facing a stronger and a better balanced team, the Freshman harriers bowed to Worcester Academy on Saturday by the score of 22 to 33. The race took place over the three mile Belmont course.
B. R. Cutcheon made excellent time for the yearlings, finishing first in 16 minutes 57 seconds. The next four places were filled by the schoolboys, who ran well together and in very good form W. L. Chapin Jr. and R. M. Barber gave the Crimson sixth and seventh places.
The order of finish and times are as follows: B. R. Cutcheon, Freshmen, 16.57; Harris, Worcester, 17.15 4-5; Peirson, Worcester, 17.26 11-5; Clausen, Worcester 17.26 3-5; Woodruff, Worcester, 17.26 3-5; W. I. Chapin Jr., Freshmen, 17.36 1-5; R. M. Barber, Freshmen, L. J. Daubin, Freshmen; 17.41, 2-5; G. F. Kent, Freshmen, 17.47.
