As a result of last week's work in trying out strokes for the first Freshman crew, Walter Amory has been chosen to fill the position. J. D. Jameson has been shifted into the boat at 2 in place of Standish Bradford, who now rows on Crew 2. The eight now is seated as follows: Bow, C. H. Hollister; 2, J. D. Jameson; 3, B. McK. Henry; 4, R. S. Hubbard; 5, C. J. Hubbard; 6, Parker Hamilton; 7, A. L. Hobson; stroke, Walter Amory.

During the past week Coach Howe gave his men several long workouts and one trial spin, testing out various strokes and coxswains. He will continue this system this week in regard to coxswains.

Tomorrow afternoon crew E of the University Squad and the two Freshman 150 pound crews will race over a mile course. With the exception of the Freshman elimination races over a week ago, this will be the first official race of the year.
