ITALIAN AMBASSADOR VISITS

Senator Ricci to Be Met by Reception Committee--Will Inspect Grounds and Buildings

Senator Vittorio Ricci, the Italian Ambassador to the United States, who is expected to arrive in Boston today, will visit the University tomorrow morning.

Dr. George La Piana, instructor in Church history at the University, will escort the Ambassador from Boston to University Hall. President Lowell is to be out of town tomorrow, and in his absence the Ambassador will be met by a reception committee consisting of Charles H. Haskins, Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences; Professor Charles H. Grandgent '83; William Roscoe Thayer '81, the biographer of Cavour and author of other books on Italian history, who is an Overseer of the University; Professor Chandler R. Post '04; William C. Lane '81, librarian of the Widener Memorial Library; and some members of the Faculty of Law.

After the ambassador has been shown the grounds and buildings of the University, he will be entertained at luncheon at the Union by the Italian Club of the University.
