The annual gymkhana of the University R. O. T. C. will be given this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Commonwealth Armory, Allston. Three prizes are offered; a first prize of a French bridle, a second of a pair of spurs, and a third of a brow band or riding crop. These awards will be given to the highest point winners, and there will also be ribbons for the winners of the different events, in the relay race, each member of the winning team will receive two points. In the mounted wrestling, two teams will be chosen by the Unit and each man remaining mounted at the end will receive two points.
The events will take place in the following order:
Musical stalls; indoor ride-a class in equitation (all entrants); obstacle race (open to second and third year men only); potato race (open to first year men only); relay race-teams of four men and one horse; mounted wrestling.
The gymkhana may be viewed by all members of the University without admission fee.
