FRESHMEN OPPOSE DEAN

1924 Nine Well Rested--Gherke Probable Choice for Pitcher

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Owing to the postponing of their game with Exeter, scheduled for last Saturday, the Freshmen have had a week of easy work since they played Cushing Academy on Wednesday, May 11, and are in good form for their contest with Dean Academy on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock this afternoon.

The yearling line-up will be the same as in the Cushing game, except that L. B. Lockwood will replace Thomas Campbell in right field. The race for this position is very close, and will be decided ultimately on the basis of hitting ability. E. L. Gherke is the probable choice for the mound, for Coach Young will want to use K. N. Bill against the powerful Holy Cross Freshmen on Saturday.

The yearlings will bar as follows: C. f., Lewis Gordon; r.f., L. B. Lockwood; 8b., T. M. Carnegie; c., L. C. Larrabee; 1.f., A. S. Rogers; s.s., Percy Jenkins; 2b., R. P. Bullard; P. E. L. Gherke; 1b., R. G. Norris.
