RED TOP AHOY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

We were much disturbed last night to receive a frantic telegram from Red Top complaining that the Crimsons were not coming to the training quarters. It further went on to say that the Crimson's correspondent at Red Top was being ducked every day that the Crimson did not arrive.

We hasten to assure the crew that we were under the impression the papers were being sent regularly. At any rate we know they will be hereafter for we proceeded, upon receipt of the wire, to direct our editorial wrath against the circulation department. Although he, the circulation department, called the shade of Burleson to witness that the copies had been mailed, we told him that we would hold him personally responsible for the safe arrival of the Crimsons at Red Top.

Much as we regret that the crew has been deprived of the University daily we can not help noting here our pride in the fact that anyone should be so angry ("very angry" were the words in the dispatch) as to send a telegram (paid in advance) all the way to Cambridge on that account.

As this editorial is addressed to the oarsmen now at Red Top we take this opportunity to extend our best wishes to them and let them know that the University feels confident that the only man on Coach Corderry's crew to see the Harvard shell row a race will be the coxswain.
