Today at the Liberal Club's 1 o'clock luncheon Mr. Roger N. Baldwin '05 will speak on "The Miners' Struggle in West Virginia". Mr. Baldwin has been secretary of the St. Louis Civic League and has also been prominent in connection with the National Association of Social Workers. He has long been active in the interests of freedom of speech and press with regard to international and industrial problems, and has recently been devoting his entire time to this cause as Director of the American Civil Liberties Union.

Reading Tonight at 6.30 o'Clock

Tonight at 6.30 o'clock in the club library, Marion Craig Wentworth, the well-known authoress of "War Brides" will read from her new pageant play "The Dreamers", a peace drama which is to be produced in January at the Boston Opera House. This reading is not a part of the regular schedule of speakers of the Liberal Club. The purpose of the reading is to interest people in the coming pageant, and to find two persons who will be willing to take part in it. The meeting will therefore be open to the public.

Two other speakers are scheduled for this week. Tomorrow at luncheon George D. Pratt, Foreign Secretary and Treasurer of the National Student Forum, with which the Liberal Club is affiliated will discuss "The New Race".

On Wednesday evening at 6.45 o'clock President C. C. Little '10 will speak on "Race Discrimination". This meeting will be open to all members of the University up to the capacity of the clubhouse.
