DEAN EDGELL

The election of Professor G. H. Edgell '09 as Dean of the School of Architecture augurs well for the future of the school. Dean Edgell is not an architect himself; but in his work as a fellow of the American Academy in Rome and in his book on architecture, he has shown himself to be a thorough student of the history of art. The executive ability of which he has given proof in his duties on the Administrative Board as well as his intimate knowledge of other departments of the University, combine to make him eminently qualified to fill his new position.
