In a hard-fought contest at Soldiers Field on Saturday, the Freshman lacrosse team met defeat at the hands of the crack Boston Lacrosse Club team by a score of 9 to 4. The club, composed almost entirely of former University stars, has already defeated the University team in two games this spring, so the fact that the Freshmen were able to give them a strong battle is an encouraging sign. Captain Babson starred for the yearlings, playing a strong defensive game, and scoring three of his team's goals.
